Job description

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm and Security Sales Representative to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our FT Worth, TX location.

Responsibilities:
  1. Selling new construction, retro-fit, fire alarm system monitoring, and tenant improvement fire alarm work in the Lubbock area market. Responsible for prospecting and developing new customers, business, and customer development, including up-selling and multi-line development of services. Providing and negotiating pricing for fire alarm contract sales.
  2. Maintaining established accounts through regular customer contact to pursue follow-up sales.
  3. Reporting progress and supplying metrics to operation and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
  4. Participating in special product demonstrations and events to increase sales and enhance the company's image.
  5. Experience in service and inspection sales is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience in a sales role that involved presenting to potential clients and negotiating direct sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the fire alarm industry and the Fort Worth region.
  • Business-to-business sales experience.
  • Bid market sales experience in the Fort Worth area.
  • Ability to satisfy state, federal, and customs background check requirements.
