Amazon’s AWS FinTech team is seeking a results-oriented software engineer to help design and build the next generation of distributed, scalable financial systems. You will work on high-impact services handling billions in USD transactions annually, while leading cross-functional teams and delivering robust software.

Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and can prototype quickly while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop services that facilitate global financial transactions worth billions (USD) annually.
• Lead cross-functional teams and make data-driven decisions.
