Job summary

Plaid is seeking a New Business Representative for our Banking & Wealth segment to prospect traditional banks, wealth-tech platforms, and digital brokerages, showcasing Plaid’s API value to modernize banking and investing.

You’ll map organizations, drive outbound engagement, qualify opportunities, and set them for Account Executives, thriving in a fast-paced fintech sales environment with a focus on customer impact and career growth.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in pipeline development or SaaS/Fintech sales.
• Experience leading conversations with banking and wealth management stakeholders.
• Ability to evangelize Plaid’s value and assess buying interest.
• Thrives in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
• Proficient with Salesforce.com or other CRM.
• Interest in financial services and tech products; strong curiosity.
• Willingness to learn Plaid APIs (Investments, Auth, Identity).

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives hunting new business within the Banking & Wealth verticals.
• Collaborate with Marketing to design outbound campaigns and feedback on B&W programs.
• Identify prospects and build pipelines through outbound campaigns aimed at decision-makers.
• Help new clients start with Plaid and answer questions about our products.
• Identify sub-verticals to drive increased revenue opportunities.
