Job summary

Cooley LLP seeks an experienced associate or special counsel to join its Financial Services Regulatory practice. The candidate should have at least five years of experience handling sophisticated technology and commercial transactions, with emphasis on fintech, payments, cryptocurrency and digital assets sectors.

Ideal candidates will draft and negotiate technology licenses, SaaS and cloud services agreements, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in technology transactions and fintech regulations.
• Experience advising on digital assets, blockchain or crypto platforms is preferred.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with sound commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex technology and commercial agreements, including SaaS and licensing.
• Advise clients on fintech, digital assets and regulatory issues.
• Independently manage sophisticated matters and client relationships.
