Job summary

Fun is seeking a Senior Counsel to lead commercial and transactional matters, reporting to the General Counsel. You’ll own integration partnership agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and related documents, while expanding into regulatory, governance, and employment issues.

You’ll collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Finance to translate commercial objectives into clear legal terms, using AI tools to speed drafting, and helping the legal function scale in a fast-moving fintech

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited US law school; admitted to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 2+ years at a top-tier law firm focusing on technology transactions, M&A, or commercial contracts.
• Exceptional drafting skills with clarity, precision, and speed.
• Comfort in a high-velocity environment with tight turnaround expectations.
• Enthusiasm for using AI and technology tools to enhance legal work without sacrificing accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and close integration partnership agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and other commercial documents at the pace our sales team demands.
• Support the full legal function with regulatory analysis, product counseling, governance, financing matters, and employment issues.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Finance to translate commercial objectives into clear, protective legal terms.
• Leverage AI and modern legal tools to accelerate drafting, research, and review while maintaining quality.
• Scale legal operations by helping build processes, templates, and playbooks for a lean team.
