Davidson Firm PLLC in New York, NY (Midtown) seeks a mid-level Associate for Fintech Regulatory & Commercial matters. You would be the lawyer on the matter, handling bank partnerships, BaaS program structuring, and regulatory work with fintech clients.

Three to five years of practice, NY admission or eligibility, and depth in at least one area (bank partnerships, money transmission, consumer financial services, or fintech contracting) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of practice; admitted in New York, or admitted elsewhere and eligible.
• Real exposure to bank partnership or BaaS work, payments and money transmission regulation, consumer financial services, or fintech commercial contracting.
• Ability to write to a founder in two sentences with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Structure bank partnership and BaaS program agreements.
• Regulatory work on payments and money transmission.
• Draft and negotiate fintech commercial contracts (MSAs, API licenses).
• Provide product counseling alongside founders and product teams.
• Direct client contact from week one.
