Job summary

Worldpay in the United States (Greater Boston area) is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst 1 to join our delivery teams. The role focuses on high-volume fintech platforms, emphasizing robustness, security, and quality engineering.

You will work with a cross-functional agile team, design test strategies, develop automated tests (Karate/Cucumber, Jenkins, Wiremock), and contribute to continuous improvement in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of QA or Test Automation experience with microservices APIs.
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
• Hands-on test automation experience.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles including risk-based testing.
• Familiar with BDD/TDD approaches and tools like Karate or Cucumber.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Expertise in at least one OO language, preferably Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan test strategies for projects and applications.
• Support agile delivery test planning in Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
• Analyze requirements to derive test coverage and risks.
• Execute tests and report quality risks and defects.
• Create and maintain automated tests and framework.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders.
