Job description

Overview

We’re seeking a senior leader and domain expert in a key segment of the fintech industry — such as Payments, Identity & Fraud, or Wealth Management — to serve as a strategic voice and connector across the fintech ecosystem.

Our organization supports over 1,300 banks and credit unions and reaches approximately 30 million registered users through a comprehensive suite of digital-first banking solutions, including customizable platforms for both consumer and business banking with tools for money management, financial wellness, and card controls.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked closely with fintechs in a partnership capacity and knows how to translate emerging trends into actionable opportunities. You’ll engage directly with fintech partners, represent the organization in public forums and customer discussions, and help shape our market perspective on the evolving fintech landscape. This is a rare opportunity to deepen your expertise, expand your influence, and play a visible role in shaping how we show up across the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and domain expert in one or more fintech verticals (e.g., Payments, Identity & Fraud, Wealth).
  • Engage with fintechs to identify, evaluate, and cultivate high-impact partnerships that align with organizational strategy.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, articulating a clear and compelling point of view on key fintech themes.
  • Track and communicate emerging trends, regulatory developments, and technology shifts shaping the fintech landscape.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of relevant companies and partners that create win-win opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute partnership strategies that meet customer needs and support overall business objectives.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through content, speaking engagements, and strategic industry conversations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in the fintech industry, with deep expertise in one or more domains.
  • Proven experience working with fintechs in partnerships, business development, or strategic engagement roles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking publicly and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable outcomes.
Preferred Distinctions
  • Experience in high-growth B2B fintech environments.
  • Recognized industry certifications or awards.
  • Experience working with global fintechs or multicultural teams.
  • Published articles, whitepapers, or regular participation in industry panels.
  • Multilingual capabilities a plus.
