Lead Practice Director of Global Solutions

Role Overview

An entrepreneurial leadership role driving large‑scale transformation and market growth across global financial institutions. The Associate Partner combines strategic consulting expertise, commercial acumen, and executional leadership to shape client agendas, accelerate profitable growth, and strengthen the firm’s presence across banking, capital markets, insurance, and fintech ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C‑level executives within major financial institutions, providing insight and direction on digital transformation, regulatory change, risk, and operational resilience.
  • Translate client priorities into strategic roadmaps and deliver measurable impact.
Business Development
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new opportunities across existing and prospective client accounts.
  • Lead go‑to‑market and sales initiatives, meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets.
  • Build long‑term, value‑based relationships that foster client loyalty and drive sustainable growth.
Delivery and Engagement Leadership
  • Oversee multi‑workstream transformation programs across technology, operations, and governance functions.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high‑quality work within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Evaluate outcomes through performance metrics, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Practice Growth and Thought Leadership
  • Shape market propositions and thought leadership across digital banking, fintech innovation, ESG, payments modernization, and core system transformation.
  • Represent the firm in industry forums and contribute to white papers or insights that define emerging financial trends.
People Development and Collaboration
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of high performance, inclusion, and innovation.
  • Mentor managers and consultants, enabling continuous professional growth and capability building.
  • Collaborate across practice areas—strategy, digital, technology, and operations—to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Digitization of customer journeys in retail and commercial banking.

Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of management consulting experience within Financial Services, ideally with top‑tier firms or transformation programs.
  • Proven success in developing client relationships and achieving a book of business of $5M+ in annual revenue.
  • Experience leading large, cross‑functional teams and complex engagements across global clients.
  • Deep sector knowledge in banking, asset management, insurance, or payments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and solution‑design skills.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive presentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency with modern consulting methodologies (agile delivery, design thinking, value‑stream mapping).
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma advantageous.
