Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in New York offers an Investment Banking and Capital Markets Banker Fintech Associate role. The position supports live transactions in the Fintech coverage team, develops client materials, and applies advanced valuation and deal execution skills.

The Associate title implies working with leverage across M&A and capital markets in a hybrid work setting. A strong technical foundation and prior experience in technology/FinTech are expected.

Qualifications

• At least two years of investment banking experience with exposure to technology or FinTech sectors.
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle including pitching and deal execution.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred; licenses (Series 79, 63) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of live transactions as part of the Fintech coverage team, including preparing materials for client discussions.
• Apply financial and qualitative methods to evaluate mergers, debt financings and equity financing.
• Build operating models and perform valuation analyses (DCF, comps, LBO).
• Analyze and synthesize corporate and financial information and conduct due diligence.
• Collaborate with product teams across debt/equity capital markets, FX, and rates.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to analysts and interns.
