Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks a FinTech Systems Specialist to oversee financial systems data integrity and support system changes within the Finance team. You will work with Workday, Adaptive Planning and Blackline, acting as SME for process improvements and standardization initiatives.

The role requires a 21+ age, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/IS or equivalent, and experience with financial systems and Excel. Strong prioritization and collaboration with IT and Finance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Information Systems or equivalent.
• 1 year financial systems administration experience, Workday preferred.
• Accounting experience and financial statement knowledge, preferred.
• Project experience with system conversions and/or process improvement initiatives, preferred.
• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple requests.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the financial systems and ensures the integrity of the systems and data, including Workday, Adaptive Planning, and Blackline.
• Areas of Workday support include FDM (Fundamental Data Model) especially companies, cost centers, ledger accounts, spend categories, revenue categories, and account posting rules and first notice rules for banking.
• Act as SME’s for FSS improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and remediate system problems that affect the efficiency of the accounting process or accuracy of the financial information.
• Participate in system upgrades and conversions from the perspective of the Finance department and coordinate with IT and Finance to plan, document, and communicate changes.
• Other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
