Job summary

Wise in Austin seeks a Finance Manager to join the North America Regional Finance team, scaling operations for new products including Wise Assets. You will ensure compliance with local accounting, regulatory, and tax requirements while delivering accurate reporting to regulators.

You will partner with Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, and Compliance, owning monthly/quarterly/yearly NA reports and supporting audits. Build scalable controls and work with data teams to drive insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in financial controlling, audit, reporting, or management accounting.
• Strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge.
• Data-literate with large datasets and data-driven reports.
• Stakeholder management and clear financial data communication.
• SQL experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight regulatory deadlines.
• Ability to translate complex financial issues for executives and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Regional Controllers, and Compliance to deliver compliant and accurate reporting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for NA regulatory authorities; support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.
• Act as a key finance stakeholder during regulatory examinations and external audits, providing clean data.
• Assist regional finance in oversight of NA entities, ensuring internal controls are executed.
• Collaborate with global finance engineering and product teams to optimize financial systems and reporting processes.
