Wise is on the lookout for a Senior Internal Audit Specialist to join our dynamic Internal Audit team in Austin, Texas. This role involves supporting the internal audit process for Wise entities in North America while also engaging in global audits with a regional focus.

You will have the chance to develop and deliver audit engagements utilizing data-driven techniques, contributing to a fast-growing team. The position requires a minimum of 4 years in a relevant field and offers a unique opportunity to shape the operations and methodologies of the Internal Audit function.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in audit/assurance/internal controls role.
• Experience in highly regulated environments within Fintech or Financial Services.
• Worked in a multinational environment across different cultures.

Responsibilities

• Support the IA NorthAm leadership in audit process.
• Deliver audits per audit plan for timely outcomes.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Skills

Experience in risk, control or assurance

Familiarity with North American regulatory landscape

Strong coordination skills

Ability to work independently

Strong relationship building

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional certification (CFE/CIA/CISA/CPA/CAMS)
