Job summary

Remitian is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to own end-to-end delivery for one or more product lines. You will lead a cross-functional squad, serve as a peer to the Head of Delivery & Operations, and act as the senior engineering voice on your line.

You will focus on people, process, and shipping, with a strong emphasis on architecture review and environments governed by audits. You will manage a squad of engineers, hire for the team, review high-risk changes, and communicate

Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional engineering experience, including two or more years directly managing engineers.
• Track record shipping production software in a regulated environment such as fintech, healthtech, or govtech.
• Excellent written communication. You can draft customer-facing change-list framing in one pass, not five.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery for your product line: backlog grooming, enhancement tracking, sprint cadence, scope discipline within each release cycle.
• Lead a cross-functional squad and conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, growth planning.
• Production incident response for your product line.
• Customer-facing release framing to communicate changes to customers.
• Roadmap input and product strategy contribution alongside the Product Owner and the CEO.
