Stifel Financial Corp. seeks a Technology Architect to provide technical leadership within its Technology Product Development organization.

You will align engineering efforts with cloud, data, security, and platform strategies, guiding teams to make sound architectural decisions and promoting reuse across projects. You will mentor engineers, ensure DevOps and CI/CD practices, and drive architecture governance while considering AI and analytics where applicable.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of combined experience in software engineering and systems design.
• 2+ years in a role with explicit design or architecture responsibility.
• Experience designing cloud-based technology solutions with AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with cloud, data, security, platform, and technology strategies.
• Guide product engineering teams to make sound technical design decisions within architectural principles, patterns, and guardrails.
• Translate business and product needs into clear technical direction while balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Partner with product owners, engineers, platform teams, data teams, security, SREs, and architects throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify and promote reusable architectural patterns and guardrails before introducing new tech or custom solutions.
• Mentor engineers and Associate Technology Architects to make decisions independently.
• Ensure solutions follow DevOps, CI/CD, observability, resilience, and reliability principles.
• Incorporate enterprise data, analytics, integration, and AI considerations where applicable.
• Identify risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and debt; communicate to stakeholders clearly.
• Contribute to architecture governance with reusable patterns and decisions.
• Participate in backlog refinements to improve story readiness and technical decisions.
• Evaluate AI-enabled capabilities and emerging technologies as appropriate.
