Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corp seeks a Senior Cloud Architect to develop, govern, and optimize cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will drive the cloud strategy, establish governance, and guide enterprise-scale cloud implementations.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate complex concepts for executives, ensuring security, cost efficiency, and performance objectives are met.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering or system administration.
5+ years in cloud architecture across AWS/Azure/GCP.
Proficiency in AWS, Azure and/or GCP with enterprise cloud patterns.

Responsibilities

Lead design of scalable, fault-tolerant systems across multiple clouds.
Develop and maintain cloud roadmap aligned with business goals.
Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Lead migration strategies for legacy workloads to the cloud.
Partner with DevOps to integrate architectures into deployment pipelines.
Mentor cloud engineers and lead architectural reviews.
Communicate complex technical decisions to C-suite and stakeholders.
