Job summary

MRV Banks in Cape Girardeau, MO, is seeking a Fintech BSA Compliance Specialist to help protect the Bank and fintech programs by supporting BSA/AML, OFAC, and financial crime compliance. You will monitor activity, investigate concerns, evaluate fintech partners, and help ensure strong compliance controls are built into innovative products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in BSA/AML, fraud monitoring, payments, or fintech compliance.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fintech programs, digital banking services, and BaaS activities for compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC, and banking regulations.
• Review transaction monitoring alerts and investigate unusual or suspicious activity; assist SAR preparation.
• Conduct BSA/AML due diligence, onboarding assessments, and ongoing monitoring of fintech partners and third-party providers.
• Support risk assessments involving fintech partners, digital onboarding, payment systems, and emerging financial technologies.
• Help evaluate CIP/KYC, identity verification, transaction monitoring, and other financial crime controls for fintech programs.
• Partner with Operations, IT, Compliance, and Product teams to evaluate compliance impacts of new integrations and system changes.
• Assist with compliance testing, monitoring, and quality assurance activities.
• Identify issues and track remediation from monitoring, audits, investigations, or gaps in systems/processes.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, partner oversight records, monitoring results, and regulatory reporting files.
• Research evolving regulatory guidance affecting fintech, BaaS, digital identity verification, payments, and financial crime compliance.
• Support regulatory examinations, audits, and fintech partner compliance reviews.
• Prepare compliance metrics, dashboards, and summaries for leadership and governance committees.
