Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Product Solutions Architect to act as the in‑house technical multiplier for Cloud Cost Management. You will design use cases, implement best practices, and drive CCM adoption across customer environments, including tokens, budgets, and unit economics.

You will partner with Field teams and Product Management to deliver reusable collateral and practical cost optimization strategies, leveraging AI tooling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering foundation with hands‑on experience in managing or optimizing cloud spend.
• Familiar with cloud cost models, tagging strategies, and cost reporting.
• Experience with Python and SQL for querying large billing datasets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in‑house SME for Datadog's Cloud Cost Management products across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Provide architectural guidance on capacity planning and cost vs. performance trade‑offs.
• Design and implement cost attribution, budgets, and showback/chargeback models.
• Create reference architectures, guides, and technical collateral for Field teams.
• Partner with Product Management to influence roadmaps based on field insights.
