Job summary

Datadog is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Cloud FinOps team to own delivery across the runtime pipeline, coverage onboarding, and cost-to-customer identity mapping. You will manage contracts Finance and platform teams rely on, and expand ownership to improve reproducibility of cost data across products and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data platform or data engineering teams building batch and pipeline systems.
• Shipped versioned publication with effective dates, backfill, and reproducible history.
• Delivery commitments with cross-functional teams and awareness of missed contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team building the platform that allocates cloud cost to products and customers.
• Own the publication contract with Finance, with versioned metrics and reproducible history.
• Own metric contracts with platform teams to shift cost facts to the responsible teams.
• Partner with Revenue Engineering on cost-to-revenue identity and margins.
• Drive continual improvement in coverage, accuracy, and timeliness of cost data.
