Job summary

Sysdig, a leading cloud security and FinOps innovator, seeks a senior cost-optimization leader to own multi-cloud cost governance, reporting, and roadmap. You will partner with engineering and finance to drive unit-economics insights, rightsizing, and AI/GPU compute cost strategies while shaping pricing and margins.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FinOps or cloud cost management and leading enterprise-wide cost initiatives.
• Experience reducing cloud spend at scale (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Ability to translate infrastructure costs into actionable metrics for finance and leadership.
• Experience building governance across Finance, Product and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own hosting/cloud cost transparency with dashboards by product, team, and workload.
• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities including rightsizing and reserved capacity.
• Build cost governance for AI/GPU compute and telemetry pipelines as they scale.
• Manage costs across multi-cloud infrastructure, data transfer, residency and compliance.
• Translate costs into cost-to-serve and gross-margin metrics for pricing strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive cost initiatives to closure.
• Embed with engineering to establish cost-aware patterns and regular reviews.
