Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a seasoned cloud financial manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost governance across multi-cloud environments. You will translate usage and spend trends into actionable insights for stakeholders while ensuring service quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration across finance and engineering, with a focus on automation, cost allocation, dashboards in Power BI, and adoption of FinOps standards. Hybrid Lisbon onsite 2–3 days, strong English required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FinOps or cloud financial management experience.
• Background as a Cloud Developer or Cloud Architect.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP billing models.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and optimization strategies.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong Power BI expertise for analysis and reporting.
• Experience using IBM Cloudability for cloud cost management.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Alignment with corporate culture, including integrity and ethics.
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, prioritisation, and daily commitment.

Responsibilities

• Implement FinOps standards, policies, and governance to support efficient cloud cost management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, recharging, and cost optimization objectives.
• Monitor cloud spend, usage, trends, and anomalies, and provide timely insights.
• Identify optimization opportunities without affecting service quality.
• Produce reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Improve cost tracking, allocation, automation, and financial accountability across teams.
