Job summary

WEX Inc. is expanding its FinOps practice and seeking a FinOps Analyst to drive financial accountability for cloud spend. You’ll translate invoices and usage data into actionable insight for engineers, finance partners, and business leaders.

You’ll report on cloud spend, provide ad-hoc cost analyses, and propose optimization opportunities. A strong Excel/Sheets background and clear written communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or cloud operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel—pivot tables, lookups, conditional logic, reusable templates.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present findings to both engineering teams and finance leaders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring monthly reports and slide decks summarizing cloud spend, trends, and variance against plan.
• Respond to ad-hoc cost questions from owners, architects, and finance partners.
• Surface and package optimization opportunities, including auto-generated recommendations and your own analysis.
