Job summary

Acadian Asset Management LLC is seeking a FinOps Analyst to own cloud cost visibility, governance, and optimization across AWS and Kubernetes. You will develop financial models, forecast demand, and partner with Platform, Investment, and Engineering teams to align cloud spend with business value.

You will build dashboards, analyze spend trends, and implement cost-aware patterns while communicating findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud cost management.
• Proficient with Tableau, Python, SQL.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cost management tools and saving programs.
• Experience with Kubernetes cost management in production.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage cloud cost visibility, reporting, and governance across AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and SaaS providers.
• Develop and maintain financial models for cloud capacity planning, demand forecasting, and budgeting.
• Establish unit economics and cost allocation models.
• Analyze and optimize spend across EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, and AI/ML platforms.
• Partner with engineering teams to implement cost-aware architecture patterns and drive FinOps adoption.
• Build dashboards and reporting using Tableau, AWS CUR, and Python analytics.
• Evaluate and implement tooling for automated cloud cost governance and optimization.
• Identify and mitigate cost risks and anomalies.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on spend trends.
