Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a FinOps Analyst to support the financial sustainability, governance, and scalability of its cloud and technology investments. You will independently manage FinOps initiatives, analyze usage and cost data, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to turn findings into practical actions.

You will work with teams across Cloud Engineering, R&D, Product, Finance, Procurement, and other functions to embed FinOps practices into planning and decision-making, focusing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with cost analysis and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver FinOps initiatives to improve spend visibility and governance.
• Analyze cloud and third-party usage, cost data, and identify trends and cost drivers.
• Identify and track cost optimization opportunities and measure savings.
• Support tagging, metadata standards, cost allocation, and governance controls.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, forecasts, and KPIs for financial visibility.
• Support budgeting and forecasting based on historical consumption and planned changes.
• Investigate spend variances and recommend corrective actions.
