The Finishing Technician is responsible for performing surface finishing operations, conducting in-process inspections, and ensuring finished products meet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous finishing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using precision inspection and measuring tools.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding and ability to follow quality system requirements and manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Surface Finishing Operations: blasting, tumbling, polishing, grinding, cleaning, hand filing; select abrasives to achieve required finishes.
• Inspection & Quality: perform in-process inspections and document results; verify dimensions with precision instruments.
• Manufacturing Support: read job travelers and docs; maintain clean, safe work area; assist production schedules.
