Job summary

KDM is seeking Finishing Technicians for 1st and 2nd shifts in Cincinnati, OH. The role operates, sets up, maintains, and monitors finishing equipment used to produce high-quality printed materials, retail displays, and POP products.

You will be cross-trained across finishing processes, work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and be detail-oriented with mechanical aptitude. The position offers competitive pay, stay bonuses, and an on-site, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, finishing, machine operation, or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and work orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers, and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor finishing equipment.
• Set up and adjust equipment for job specifications and production requirements.
• Review of work orders, job tickets, and production schedules.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure accuracy, appearance, and product functionality.
• Package, assemble, kit, and prepare products for shipment when required.
• Complete production documentation and job tracking accurately.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Load and unload materials and finished products as necessary.
• Support production schedules and workflow efficiency.
• Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and 6S standards.
• Work collaboratively with Production, Print, Shipping, Project Management, and Quality teams.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
