Tecomet is seeking a Metal Finisher I for the 1st shift to perform finishing operations per job orders, including deburring, hand grinding, polishing, and edge breaks. You will also handle sand blasting, visual inspections, and equipment setup while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities include counting parts, applying production approvals when required, and contributing to 5S and lean practices in a collaborative shop environment.
This Metal Finisher I position is a 1st shift position. In this role you will perform finishing operations according to specifications documented on the job order. Other production tasks such as sandblasting and/or operating a tumbler will be performed in a timely and efficient manner. This is accomplished by maintaining Tecomet's principles of Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Innovations.
