Job summary

Nesco Resource in Mount Sterling, KY is recruiting for a production associate to assemble and inspect fluid components on site. Shift options include 1st 7 am–3 pm or 2nd 3 pm–11 pm, with mandatory overtime.

The role requires reading gauges, operating fixtures and stamping equipment, and performing quality checks per TS 16949. Overtime is common, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembly and inspection of components.
• Ability to read ID/OD gauges and follow specs.
• Maintain quality through TS 16949 documentation.

OVERTIME IS MANDATORY.

Description

Responsible for the quality, assembly and inspection of fluid components and assemblies within the assigned Business Unit.

1. 1.Load work station with formed hoses and other miscellaneous production materials.
2. 2.Retrieve/return required production fixtures/tooling.
3. 3.Operate required production fixtures/tooling apparatus.
4. 4.Operate automatic or hand activated stamping equipment.
5. 5.Operate various production machines that are required as part of production process.
6. 6.Perform various re-inspection of product as directed
7. 7.Perform various salvage operations of product as directed.
8. 8.Perform set-up/first piece quality inspection per TS 16949 documentation.
9. 9.Fill out manufacturing slips.
10. 10.Tally production for timecard.
11. 11.Maintain work areas neat and orderly in accordance with 5S principles.
12. 12.Read ID/OD check gauges.
13. 13.Read Specifications/Standard Practices and sign off appropriate documentation as required.
14. 14.Perform all operations per specification, standard practice, or as directed by supervision.
15. 15.Daily and weekly overtime may be required.
16. May on occasion be required to perform duties other than those listed in this job description.
