Job summary

Electrolux Group in Springfield, MO, seeks a Process Technician – 2nd Shift to support efficient manufacturing and safety goals. You will be the expert in processes and equipment, perform adjustments, setup, autonomous maintenance, and train operators to meet daily production plans with high quality.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, plus 3 years of manufacturing experience, ability to read drawings, understand electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems, and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as process and equipment expert in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Lead changeovers and equipment adjustments to meet quality and cycle time goals.
• Analyze data to drive productivity and safe operations.

Your main tasks:

• The Process Technician is considered an expert of manufacturing processes and equipment.

• Responsible for adjustments, equipment set-up, autonomous maintenance, daily reports, and training equipment operators to assure production plan is accomplished in a safe, efficient, and productive manner with a high degree of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Operate various forms of equipment and teach new employees proper operation of the equipment.

• Responsible for daily productivity in their equipment and data analysis.

• Lead changeovers and equipment adjustments based on quality and cycle time requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or High School diploma/GED and 3 years of manufacturing experience

• Must possess fundamental understanding of Industrial Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret documents & drawings and write detailed repair reports.

• Ability to Ensure product is built to specification in a quality manner

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
