Job summary

Electrolux Group in the United States is hiring a Process Technician II for the 4th shift (weekend). The role focuses on expertise in manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced plant.

You will adjust, set up, perform autonomous maintenance, generate daily reports, train operators, lead changeovers, and analyze data to meet production plans. Candidates with associate degree or high school with years of maintenance experience are welcome;

Qualifications

• Associates degree + 3 years experience or HS diploma + 5 years in manufacturing maintenance.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, protractor).
• Experience operating automated heavy equipment in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Participate in root cause analysis of equipment/parts.
• Operate computer/tablet (iOS/Android).

Your main tasks:

• The Process Technician is considered an expert of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Responsible for adjustments, equipment set-up, autonomous maintenance, daily reports, and training equipment operators to assure production plan is accomplished in a safe, efficient, and productive manner with a high degree of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Operate various forms of equipment and teach new employees proper operation of the equipment.
• Responsible for daily productivity in their equipment and data analysis.
• Lead changeovers and equipment adjustments based on quality and cycle time requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree with 3 years of experience or High School diploma/GED and 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Must be proficient in the use of precision measurement equipment such as caliper, micrometer, and protractor.
• Proven past ability to operate automated heavy equipment at an advanced level in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Ability to demonstrate strong trouble shooting skills.
• Participate in root cause analysis of equipment or parts
• Must be able to operate a computer and a tablet (iOS and Android)
