Job summary

Allegion Canada Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Finishing Process Operator to operate finishing processes (Plating, E-Coat, Powder Coat) and perform preventive maintenance on finishing equipment.

You will apply basic chemistry and math to monitor pH levels and amperage, enter quality data into computerized systems, and follow KanBan principles for material flow, while adhering to OSHA and RCRA regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 3 months experience in plating, e-coat, or powder coat in manufacturing.
• Willingness to perform material handling and preventative maintenance (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing processes (Plating, E-Coat, Powder Coat) and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Apply basic chemistry and math to monitor pH, amperage and material ordering.
• Enter quality data into computerized systems and follow KanBan material flow and safety regulations.
