Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Finishing Operator for a Monday through Thursday shift in Dalton, GA.

The role involves flexible assignment across the Assembly Department, including swatch lines, labeling, packaging, and final assembly tasks to meet production goals. Responsibilities include following procedures, inspecting materials for quality, labeling finished goods, and ensuring on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• Must meet production standards.
• Key in production on computer throughout the day.
• Set up materials for subsequent jobs.
• Rework samples or boards as needed.
• Must comply with all Corporate Policies.
• Must adhere to the normal work schedule.
• Must be flexible and work at various stages of assembly.
• Clean work area at end of shift.

Responsibilities

• Work in different positions throughout the Assembly Department, including Swatch Line, Pod Assembly, Labeling, Packaging, Edge Staining, Mezz Stocking and Pulling, Set Assembly, and Packing orders.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to assemble components into finished products accurately.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in products to the supervisor promptly.
• Label HS and SS products according to specifications and ensure documentation is completed.
• Package finished products securely to prevent damage during shipping and handling.
• Meet production deadlines by effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure that all orders are completed and shipped on schedule.
