Qualifications

• Must read/write English; basic math skills; attention to detail with paperwork.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Experience: 0–6 months in medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Transform components from machined state to finished product in a team environment.
• Use microscopes and optical/mechanical devices for finishing.
• Perform simple measurements using micrometers, verniers and optical comparators.
• Operate finishing equipment: electro-polish, bead-blast, heat treat, cleaning, and degreasing.
• Mark product identification, operate label-making, and package products.
• Read and understand blueprints and comply with Smith+Neb policies and FDA/QSR standards.
• Complete required training on time and perform barcode scanning.
• Work with the team and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep the work area clean.
