Now hiring for a Finishing Operator

Location: Waite Park, MN

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including arithmetic, geometry, and measurements.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience working with precision measurements, assembly, machining, finishing, or inspection processes preferred.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, or forklifts is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to accurately read blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments is beneficial.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, position, and move components manually or with lifting equipment.
  • Comfortable working with precision tools, measuring devices, and production equipment.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while handling detailed finishing and inspection tasks.
Job Duties
  • Prepare, clean, and assemble precision components according to specifications.
  • Finish workpieces using manual lapping plates and automated finishing equipment.
  • Read blueprints, work orders, and instructions to determine product requirements.
  • Inspect and measure finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Move and position materials using cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
  • Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
