Job description

FINISHING OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Finishing Operator for a company based in Columbus, MS. This role offers an opportunity to learn new processes in the metal casting industry. The primary responsibilities include operating machinery such as grinders and aerosol sprayers to produce finished products.

Pay Rate
$14.00 to $15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Finishing Operator Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate machines to grind and finish products to specifications.
2. Perform recurring mechanical tasks requiring aptitude.
3. Use special tools, standard hand tools, and power tools to perform duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred: Three years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be fitted for and willing to wear a respirator.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a noisy environment.
• Must pass a 50 lb lift test.
