Job summary

MCC is seeking a Finishing Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on checking print and seam quality, splicing rolls, and data entry in Radius. Must lift up to 50 pounds and handle moving and palletizing rolls to prevent damage. Prior printing experience is preferred and basic math for label counts is required.

The position offers a strong benefits package and a sign-on bonus. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus a $0.50/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Experience with lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred.
• Standing, walking and lifting up to 50 pounds are required.
• Must be able to operate basic printing and seam related processes.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web per specification.
• Uses ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Records data on paperwork and in Radius system.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
