Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Indiana Culver seeks a trainee sprayer to spray finishes on the finishing line and assist in training new sprayers. The role emphasizes learning move ticket standards, safety rules, and maintaining production quality.

You will be cross-trained in sanding and wiping duties, communicate with multiple departments, and complete required documentation while supporting a high-performance production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand move tickets.
• Ability to spray all finishes.
• Must have the ability to identify various finishes and wood species.
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must have good team work/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Spray product on the finishing line per move ticket standards.
• Ensure color checkers are in place and are checking the color.
• Ensure all portable pots are grounded.
• Ensure all agitators are running.
• Maintain spray equipment includes gun filter cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Train to sanding duties on the line using a sanding block or sand paper.
• Train to wiping duties on the line using a wiping rag.
• Communicate with various departments and personnel.
• Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork.
• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• At minimum must be cross trained in job prior to and after current position in process flow.
• Fix unsafe conditions if possible and report condition to supervisor.
• Follow all environmental policies.
