Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. in Ashland is seeking an entry-level Pre-Stain Sprayer to join the Finishing Department. You will learn spray gun set-ups, adjust fluid and air, and help ensure color matching and clean spray booths.

This role requires basic knowledge of spraying techniques for doors, frames and panels, and the ability to follow color charts and safety rules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with up to 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge for spraying techniques for doors, frames and panels.
• Ability to adjust fluid and fan pattern on spray gun.
• Use color coded chart to match colors correctly.
• Attach quick connections on paint guns properly.
• Maintain check off sheet, color codes and upkeep of spray guns.
• Keep spray booth clean and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Learn spray gun set-ups and adjustments in addition to cleaning protocol.
• Ensure correct fluid and air setup for spray gun and booth.
• Complete daily spray booth checkoff and maintain filters.
• Utilize pressure gauges to inform spray decisions.
• Perform basic spraying for doors, frames and panels per quality standards.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the spray booth.
