Job summary

Amsive LLC in Bolingbrook, IL seeks an Operator in Bindery to handle cutting and folding tasks in a high-volume print environment. This role involves setup of Guillotine cutters and folders, daily maintenance, and data entry into AmsiveERP (Monarch).

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of bindery equipment experience in direct mail or transactional print, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read safety and operation manuals. Requires HS/GED and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in high volume direct mail, transactional print, or statement/mail manufacturing.
• 1+ years operating bindery equipment in a commercial print or direct mail environment.
• Aptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to document production activities and send/reply to e-mail correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• High School/GED education or combined education/experience

Responsibilities

• Operating and setup of Guillotine cutters and Folders
• Perform emergency and daily equipment maintenance to devise asrequired
• Complete departmental daily tasks including but not limited to housekeeping,communicationand operations
• Data entry of jobs beingprocessed inAmsiveERP (Monarch)
• Communicate to Lead, Supervisor, Manager and Team
• Assistin special duties and projects as required by Management
