Job summary

Schaefer's Electrical Enclosures is seeking a Finishing Supervisor to lead our finishing team across Building Two, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and safety. The role requires strong leadership, manufacturing knowledge, and a track record in improving operational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will guide front-line staff, coordinate with other departments, and uphold safety standards while driving continuous improvement and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in final assembly, painting, or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience in supervisory or leadership position.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a diverse team comprised of front-line manufacturing staff, machine operators, and production leaders.
• Plan and follow production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
• Ensure production products meet quality standards and specifications; conduct inspections and corrective actions.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Provide thorough training on Schaefer's Quality Management System documentation to staff and new hires.
• Promote safety awareness and address safety concerns or violations as they arise.
