Job summary

Yokohama TWS is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the quality and production departments, ensuring products meet required standards through visual inspection and final control. You will verify conformity to technical norms, rectify quality variances, and maintain accurate records of inspections.

The role emphasizes hands-on inspection, tool usage, and collaboration with graders and production teams to improve overall product quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Quality experience preferred.
• Good physical condition, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and rectify product quality gaps to meet standards.
• Classify, repair, and sort defects per CVI guidance.
• Record keeping and documentation of inspection processes.
• Provide real-time feedback on adverse quality trends to production teams.
• Select tires for run-out tests and radial force variation tests.
• Transport tires to repair area and prepare tools for grading and repair.
• Paint tires for final appearance and maintain 5S at workstation.
