Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of production experience in manufacturing.
• Basic math skills required for job functions.
• Understanding of basic measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers).
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Machining experience is a plus.
• May require forklift/overhead crane licenses and lockout/tagout certification.

Responsibilities

• Sands or grinds rolled materials to meet product specifications.
• Sets up and operates leveling equipment.
• Sets up and operates shears to meet dimensional specs.
• Assists with material handling in rolling mills.
• Follows safety PPE and environmental policies.
