Job description

As a Finishing Operator, you will play a key role in processing bulk materials and preparing them for shipment. This position offers hands‑on experience with industrial equipment and the opportunity to cross‑train in various areas of the plant.

  • Must be willing to work 2nd and 3rd shifts
You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Operate roll straighteners and cut‑to‑length band saws to process cast materials
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to transport material throughout the plant. Load and unload trucks as needed
  • Load and program the anneal and age heat treat ovens according to SOPs
  • Use precise measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer) and document results
  • Set up straighteners for cast material processing
  • Follow detailed bundling and shipping instructions based on customer specifications
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and assist with facility/equipment cleaning
  • Support other skilled or unskilled tasks as needed
  • Cross‑train in other plant areas to support production needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in using measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including coverage for vacations or production demands
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality standards
