Job summary

Pregis is seeking an experienced Bindery Operator to support finishing and fulfillment operations, ensuring printed products are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. You will operate bindery equipment, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities include setting up and running bindery and finishing machinery, auditing production specs, and documenting performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years in bindery/printing or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating and setting up production equipment; strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate bindery and finishing equipment.
• Monitor multiple machines and review job specs before processing.
• Maintain production output while meeting quality standards.
• Complete production documentation and performance records.
• Perform quality inspections and verify finished products meet specs.
• Identify and resolve quality concerns before next stage.
• Assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Operate drills, stitchers, vacuum tables, and finishing equipment.
• Communicate equipment or production issues to leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area; follow PPE rules.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on quality, efficiency, waste reduction.
