Job summary

Chemence is seeking a Finishing Associate in Dalton, GA for a part-time role. The position involves operating a cutting machine with rotary or reciprocating blades to cut rolls of material and ensuring stamps pass quality standards.

You will inspect stamps for defects, coordinate with the team leader for re-runs, stay highly organized, and assist in Production and Finishing Departments as needed.

  • Submit requests to Maintenance department.
  • Work diligently with direct supervisor and other duties as assigned; assist Production and Finishing Department.

Summary:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The individual is required to inspect every stamp. Inspection is to look for defective stamps (bubbles, low spots, lines not forming, undercutting, bad label, off registration, and missing pieces).
  • To communicate with team leader if re-runs are needed to complete an order.
  • Individual must be highly organized, and task oriented and manage multiple workflow processes simultaneously.
  • Submitting request to Maintenance department.
  • Work diligently and confidentially with direct supervisor.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned; this includes helping in Production and Finishing Department.

Physical Demands:

  • Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods , occasionally required to sit , climb, or balance , stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Non-temperature-controlled warehouseandnon-temperature-controlled production floor.
