Job summary

Super Color Digital, LLC in Irvine, CA is seeking a meticulous Finisher/Sewing associate responsible for measuring merchandise, sewing seams, and adding hardware according to Work Orders and Finishing Instructions.

You will verify dimensions, read inches, process grommets and pole pockets, and move finished items to the next stage in the production system, with focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and convert inches to decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Measure merchandise and compare to Work Order specifications.
• Sew or weld edges and/or pole pockets according to Work Order specs.
• Apply hardware such as grommets as required by the Work Order.
• Move the Work Order in stage management using the computer database.
• Check that all information regarding Work Order/merchandise is correct before passing to the next stage.
• Follow Finishing Instructions on Work Order to ensure client satisfaction.
• Verify dimensions are correct and communicate any discrepancies to Finishing Lead.
• Expand skills through cross-training and assist other areas when needed.
