Job summary

Katella Deli is seeking a pastry/bakery team member to support decorating and production of pastries in a fast-paced shop in California. You will follow recipes, measure ingredients, and help decorate items for customer orders and store displays.

This role requires a passion for bakery work, the ability to read recipes, and readiness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Food safety and quality are emphasized. Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of bakery or food production experience preferred.
• Valid California Food Handler Card required for employees who prepare, store, or serve food.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Passion for working in a bakery environment.
• Two to five years of related bakery or food production experience preferred.
• Valid California Food Handler Card required for employees who prepare, store, or serve food.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience operating a depositor, deck oven, rack oven, and spiral mixer preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, safety guidelines, and other work-related documents.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift ingredients or products as required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
