Job summary

O'Keefe Millwork is seeking an experienced Finisher to join our team in River Falls, WI, with on-site work near Minneapolis/St. Paul.

The role focuses on prepping surfaces, applying high-end finishes, and color matching to achieve premium results for hospitality and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with sanding, painting lacquers, urethanes, and polyester finishes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience with sanding wood and painting using lacquer, urethane, and polyester finishes.
• Detail-oriented and works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and demonstrates an ability to meet deadlines and perform work with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of measuring and calculating dimensions of a project using a tape measure and calculator.

Responsibilities

• Prepares product for finishing by sanding surfaces and quality checking for cracks or holes.
• Applies a variety of finishes to achieve high-end finished products.
• Sprays stain, finish, and mixes custom color.
• Handles multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and urgency.
• Performs touch-up repairs as necessary.

For more than 40 years, O'Keefe has been renowned for manufacturing high-end custom products for the hospitality, education, healthcare, and retail markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares product for finishing by sanding surfaces and quality checking for cracks or holes
• Applies a variety of finishes to achieve high-end finished products
• Sprays stain, finish, and mixes custom color
• Handles multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and urgency
• Performs touch-up repairs as necessary

Must Have Skills:

• Experience with sanding wood and painting using lacquer, urethane, and polyester finishes
• Detail-oriented and works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and demonstrates an ability to meet deadlines and perform work with minimal supervision.

• Reliably commute to our River Falls, WI office. Position will be located onsite in River Falls a short commute from Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area.

Nice to Have Skills:

• 2 years of related experience
• Experience painting in a spray booth
• Ability to color match
• Ability to mix stains, dyes, and pigments to create custom colors
