• Read shop drawings and work orders to build commercial cabinetry products.
• Handle woodworking equipment and tools proficiently.
• Collaborate with team members for efficient assembly.
• Proficiently operate various saws.

Skills

Experience using a variety of hand tools

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Proficient at using a tape measure

Strong attention to detail

Ability to read architectural blueprints

1 year of experience building cabinets, furniture, or fixtures

Education

Education in construction or cabinet making

3 years of experience in finish carpentry

Position:Are you experienced in construction? O’Keefe is seeking motivated individuals interested in establishing a career in commercial cabinetry. Join our skilled team and help create custom cabinetry using state-of-the-art equipment in our indoor millwork shop.

For more than 40 years, O’Keefe has been renowned for manufacturing high-end custom products for the hospitality, education, healthcare, and retail markets.

Responsibilities:

• Read shop drawings and work orders to build commercial cabinetry products
• Handle woodworking equipment and tools proficiently and safely
• Collaborate with team members to assemble work orders efficiently
• Proficiently operate a variety of saws
• Assume additional tasks to support other departments as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a desire to grow inthe millwork industry

Must Have Skills:

• Experience using a variety of hand tools
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Proficient at using a tape measure
• Maintain strong attention to detail
• Ability to read architectural blueprints
• 1 year of experience building cabinets, furniture, or fixtures.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiar with AWI guidelines for production quality
• Preferred: 3 years of cabinet-making experience
• Education in construction or cabinet making or 3 years of experience in finish carpentry
• Experience building European-style cabinetry
• Experience working with laminate and veneer products
• Experience operating a case clamp
