Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of sourcing experience required.
• Strong global sourcing experience required.
• Finished-goods or contract-manufacturing sourcing experience required.
• Experience taking products from concept through commercialization.
• Proficient in RFQ, negotiation, supplier management and cost-analysis.
• Experience working with overseas and domestic contract manufacturers.
• Ability to partner closely with Engineering/R&D.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy for finished goods and contract-manufactured products.
• Identify and qualify new domestic and international manufacturers.
• Manage supplier selection from initial sourcing through commercialization.
• Run RFQs and analyze supplier proposals, pricing, and terms.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, MSAs, incentives, and supplier agreements.
• Develop and manage landed-cost models.
• Partner with Engineering and R&D during new product development.
• Support design-for-manufacturing reviews, prototyping, tooling, validation, and pilot production.
• Manage supplier quality, capacity, lead times, packaging, logistics, and launches.
• Conduct supplier, competitor, geographic, and industry analysis.
• Develop sourcing strategies to improve cost and performance.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues.
• Support new product launch schedules and cost targets.
• Provide guidance to junior sourcing team members.
